THE OLD TESTAMENT IS A “PICTURE BOOK”
And ABC's OF JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF,
AS
God
uses His Word to communicate with us in the same way He has us
communicate with each other.
HOW
WE COMMUNICATE WITH OTHERS IN PRINT:
1 We use an alphabet of
individual letters.
2.We assign sounds to each letter.
3.We put letters together that represent sounds.
4.We link sounds together to make words.
5.We put words together into sentences and
convey our
thoughts.
6.We put sentences together into paragraphs and
expand our thoughts.
GOD
IS SPIRIT AND IN HIS WORD, HE USES HIS “OT ALPHABET”
TO
COMMUNICATE HIS CHRIST.
1. God has an
“alphabet” made up of OT people,
animals, places, and things, numbers, colors, and materials.
2. Based on
His first mention of things, God assigns meanings to His
"alphabet". Most often, these
“first
mentions” are in
the Book of Genesis which is the “Seed Plot”
of
God’s Word.
Example: God created man on Day 6. So, based on
this
“first mention", in all of Scripture, God uses the
number 6 to refer to
man.
.
3. God’s OT stories have human characters who either
“picture” Jesus
Christ, God’s express image, or they picture God's
enemies who
are the
unsaved. Before our salvation, we were enemies of God.
Romans 8:7
These OT stories explain how God deals with His people (the
saved), and
also how He deals with His enemies (the unsaved).
We need to read and know the OT stories.
4. Most importantly, these OT stories help us to understand the NT text. It is the NT text which tells us of God’s great love for
His Son Jesus Christ. The
NT also tells God’s purpose for all He has done, is doing,
and will do. This is all referred to as
"doctrines". Ephesians
3:8-11
express God’s thoughts about His Son Jesus Christ! Jesus
Christ is the
main Focus of God’s Word.
6. God is Love. Love is an Action Verb. Action Verbs need
an
object. God’s Object for everything
He
does, is His Son Jesus Christ!
By
having both the Old and New
Testaments, God has given us “the witness of two”. We have two ways to understand Truths about
God and His Son Jesus Christ. In the OT, God has given us "physical pictures” which we, as humans, are able to understand.
In
7. If
we can’t match up a NT doctrine
with an OT “picture”, then we know something is either
wrong with our
understanding of the NT
doctrine, or that we don’t accurately know the OT
“picture”, or physical story.
God wants His
people to clearly "see” His plan and purpose
We need to pray that God’s Spirit will enlighten “…the eyes of our understanding” to the Truths about God and our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:17-23
THE NEW TESTAMENT TEXT TELLS US TO USE THE OLD TESTAMENT
Luke
24:27 “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He (Jesus) expounded
unto them
in all
the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.”
Romans 15:4 (Paul wrote) “For whatsoever things were written before time (OT), were written for our learning that we, through patience and comfort of the Scriptures, might have hope.”
II Peter 3:2 (Peter wrote) “That you be mindful of the words which were spoken by the holy prophets (OT) and of the commandment of us the Apostles of the Lord and Savior."

"absent from the body"
HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DYING!!!
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
II Corinthians 5:8
Understood in its context, this verse means to be absent from the Old Covenant, the Body of Moses’
teachings and to be present with the New Covenant teachings of the Lord.
II Corinthians 5: 1-8

we know that if our “earthly house of this tabernacle” (Old Cov) were dissolved, we have a building of God,

believers die, they go right to Heaven to

They almost always

Adamic Christology:
ADAMIC CHRISTOLOGY IS THE STUDY
OF THE ENTIRE BIBLE BEING A CONTRAST
OF THE FIRST AND SECOND ADAMS.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
FIRST ADAM – FROM THE DUST OF THE EARTH
SECOND
ADAM – FROM GOD OUR
FATHER
Read Romans 5:12-21
We see in God's Word that nothing from the Earth can please our Heavenly Father.
Our Father is only pleased
With The Redemptive Work
of His Son Jesus Christ.
II Peter 1:17
Jesus Christ is God’s Word, or Seed. John 1:1
Because of being in Christ, the saved are able to boldly approach the Father. Heb 4:16
Saved people have been given the gift of faith Eph 2:8 and they use this faith as the only way to please God their Father. Heb 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God, must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder
of them that diligently seek Him.” Heb 11:6
Adamic
Christology begins
with the first man Adam, and ends with
the Man
Christ Jesus, the Second Adam.
In God’s
mind, before He ever
made the world, He planned to have the first Adam be of the
earth, to be unspiritual.
God took dust from the ground and breathed the Breath of Life into this “Mud Man”.
When God made the Second Adam, the Man Christ Jesus, He took His Word, Seed from Himself,
and “planted” it in the womb of the woman.
Gen
“And the Word (God’s), was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten
( Created and Promised One) of the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
"When the fullness of time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. Gal 4:4
Christ, God’s Word, is the “Essence” of God.
God also designed us so that our words are also the “essence” of us.
“
for of the abundance of the
heart his mouth speaks"
Luke 6:45
**************************************************************************************************************************
Through the first Adam,
"Sin entered into the world, and death by sin;
and so death passed upon all men, for that
all have sinned." Romans 5:12
FROM THE BEGINNING,
WE HAVE A PHYSICAL "PICTURE" OF THE STORY
OF OUR SPIRITUAL SALVATION
It’s
significant that the
first Adam is not listed in the Hall of
Faith. Hebrews 11
If Adam was saved, God would have given him the gift of faith.
Abel, Adam’s second son, is the first person listed in Hebrews 11.
Abel brought the firstling of his flock of sheep, the right sacrifice.
Abel's lamb "pictures" Jesus Christ, “…the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Rev 13:8
Cain’s offering pictures man trying to earn his own salvation.
Because
God did not accept Cain's offering, Cain
murdered his brother Abel. Gen 4
We can read about this in Isaiah 14.
Most people think Isaiah 14 is about Satan.
It is about the First Adam!
*************************************************************************************************************************

much more, they which receive abundance of grace
and of the gift of righteousness, shall reign in life,

By creating the earthy Adam first, God is able to show forth His attributes of grace, mercy, longsuffering, patience, supremacy, holiness, power, faithfulness, loving kindness, goodness, sovereignty and wrath.

God is Sovereign

His election of

God did not elect certain people because of any good thing in them!

Psalm 65:4 Blessed is the man whom Thou chooses, and causes to approach unto Thee, the he may dwell in Thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, even of Thy holy temple.
Psalm 110:3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power...
(On God's appointed day of salvation for His people, He gives them a new heart toward Him.
This is part of The New Covenant in the blood of Jesus Christ. Heb 8:6-13, Jer 31:31-34, 32:38-40, Ezek 36:25-27)
John 15:16 (Jesus speaking) "You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your
fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it to you."
John 17:6 (Jesus praying to God our Father)
"I have manifested Thy Name unto the men which Thou gave Me out of the world: Thine they were, and Thou gave them to Me; and they have kept Thy Word."
It is God, not Jesus Christ, Who elects certain people to salvation.

Adversary of Jesus in the Wilderness:
When Jesus was in the Wilderness, what was His "Satan"
or "Adversary"? (opposing force)
(opposing force). Acts 2:22, Eph 4:13, I Tim 2:5
The Book of James
clearly tells us that man's inner desires tempts him:
. From whence come wars and fighting among you?
James 4:1
"Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted of God”: for God cannot be tempted with evil,
- shows that Jesus was not a "God-Man"
neither
tempts He any man: but every man is tempted
when he is drawn away
Then when lust hath conceived, it brings forth sin:
and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.” James 1:13-15
Jesus' lust had not "conceived"
He did not sin!
Jesus
had
been 40 days
without
food and water. He was close to death.
He
was
saved by living on every Word of
God. Luke 4:
The First Adam did not live by God’s Word.
Thus, he disobeyed God. Genesis 3
JESUS, THE SECOND ADAM, LIVED BY GOD’S WORD!
THUS, JESUS NEVER SINNED AGAINST GOD.

Agency:
"Agency" is the Hebrews’ Understanding That
God’s People Are Agents Who Speak For God.
"Agency" is the Hebrew way of thinking. The whole idea of redemption
is a Hebrew mindset.
In Hebrew thought, if God thought anything to be done,
it absolutely would be done!
The
Hebrews believed that all things were of God, but not all things
stood
in the
place of God.
Example:
Exodus 7:1
And the LORD said unto Moses,
“See I have made
thee
a God
to Pharaoh: (Agency)
and
Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.”
In Deuteronomy 29:1,
All
of the covenant
In Deuteronomy 29:6,
Moses said, “I am the LORD your God.” (Agency)
Moses was
God’s agent, the
outward form of
God.
And
the
people saw Moses as God.
This is the Hebrew
mindset
which
we see throughout the OT.
Because the Church says it’s just “understood” Moses
was
speaking for God,
Another
major error that the Church teaches
is
that the
Angel of the LORD
was
Jesus Christ before He came to Earth.
The Truth is,
God’s
Agent was the Man
Christ Jesus, not an angel.
Just as Moses was
total
man, Jesus
was a total
Jesus was
not a “God-Man”,
Scripture
does not even mention
the term “God-Man”.
This concept is from their creeds, not from God’s Word.
(For more information on this, see “Creeds”)
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Anathema:
“Anathema”
Is Only Used Once In
God’s Word
“If any man loves not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.”
I Cor 16:22
“Anathema”
means cursed, or
excommunicated from the Church.
“Maranatha” means the Lord has
come.
The
Creeds’ Use
of "Anathema" is Unscriptural
It’s
important to
know that God’s
Word does not say if we don’t believe God
came in the flesh,
we should be Anathema!
In the Creeds, it wrongly states that if
a person doesn’t
believe Jesus is God, he or she is not saved.
We must remember, the Creeds were written by men, not God!
Appoints,
God:
God
Appoints All Things!
“For of Him, and through Him, and to Him,
are all things: to Whom be glory for ever. Amen.”
Romans 11:36
A Few Things That God
Has
Appointed:
- the number of days each person will live
- when each person will be born and where each person will live
“… and hath determined the times before appointed, and the
bounds of their habitation.”
Job 7:1, 14:14,
Psalm 90:12, 102:20, Isaiah 14:31, Acts 17:26, Colossians 1:13-14
- our spiritual birth,
is the Day of our Salvation:
“It is God Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
and hath translated
we have redemption through His blood even the forgiveness of sins:”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apprehended of Christ:
Christ Apprehends All Those the Father Has Given Him.
(Jesus praying to the Father)"I have manifested Thy Name unto the men (God's elect) which Thou
gave me out of the world: Thine they were, and thou gave them me; and they have
kept Thy Word." John 17:6
“…that I may apprehend that for which I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.”
(Paul
to the Philippian believers) Philippians 3:12
Christ’s Goal For Us, And Also Our Goal For Ourselves Should Be:
“That I may know Him, and the power of His Resurrection, and the fellowship of
His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.
If by any means I might attain unto the Resurrection of the dead.”
Philippians
3:10-11
“…being made conformable unto His death…”
This
means a dying to self.
We
must learn to put Christ first, others next, and ourselves last.
Our prayer should be to live the life Jesus Christ lived, the kind of life that led to His death,
As saved sinners, we can’t live this life perfectly as Jesus Christ did,
but it should be our desire.

Approved:
Jesus Christ
“…a man approved of God…”
At Pentecost, the Birth of the Church,
Peter

the
Gospel and
he referred to Jesus
“a man

Jesus was a "God-Man", Peter would have said

Ascended,
No One Has Yet:
Jesus Said That No Man Has Ascended to Heaven
John 3:13
Jesus Christ, Who is fully Man, was the first Man to enter Heaven.
Ezek 22:30, I Co 15:20-26.
All
believers who
have died, are still in the grave, “asleep in Jesus”,
waiting for that Great Resurrection Day!
I
Thess 4:13-18
In Acts
God
would not

Acts 2:29
says that King David is
still
in the grave waiting for that Great Day.
In
Acts
Psalm 17:15
(part of David's prayer)
"As for
me, I will behold Thy face (Jesus
Christ's) in
righteousness:
I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Thy likeness."
"when I awake" shows that David believed he would be in the grave waiting for the Messiah to come. David did not believe that he would go directly to heaven when he died.
The entire purpose for Peter’s message
in Acts 2, was to show:
- that God raised Jesus
Christ
- and that David was not raised! Acts 2:29
God’s plan is to have the entire Body of Christ rise
in the air
to meet
our Head,
I Co 15:17-20, II Pet 3:4
*** The Bottom Line: ***
Jesus Christ’s promise to believers is a resurrection from the dead!
I Co 15
Then believers will be able to say, “Death, where is your sting?”

Ashes! No
Eternal Suffering:
The unsaved perish the moment they die.
The OT sacrificial system is a “picture” of how God deals with both sin and the sinner.
Because ashes can’t burn, we have a “picture” that there is
no eternal burning for the unsaved. Scripture tells us the unsaved "perish"meaning to no longer exist. John 3:16
The
graves of the unsaved will one day be
thrown into the
This is called “to surely die”, or “the Second Death”.
This
will happen after the
reappearance of Jesus
Christ.
In the OT sacrificial system, God had
sin eradicated, not the sinner!
Ashes can’t burn!!! Hallelujah!
This shows that there's no eternal punishing!
The punishment of the unsaved is to perish, not exist! John 3:16
Because ashes can't burn, the ashes of the sacrificial animals were carried out
to a clean place. This clean place “pictures” all life returning to God, Who is
a Clean Place. This does not mean that the unsaved live eternally in a relationship
with God. It is the spirit that returns to God,
That God may be "All in All”
I Co 15:28.
We also see that the animals did not suffer. They were killed by a quick knife to the throat.
Only our sinless Lord Jesus Christ suffered for sin, our sin!
Right now, sin does bring us temporal sufferings, but there is no OT “picture”
of eternal suffering.
Sin is not
"infinite" (having no
end). If sin was
"infinite", then all the unsaved would
suffer forever. But
they
don’t! God's
Word says the unsaved perish.
John 3:16, II Pet 2:12, II Thess 2:10, Heb 10:17, Isa 26:14
If sin is "infinite", Jesus
Christ would have
had to suffer forever!
Anything of "infinite value" has no end. It's in the sphere of God.
In Hebrews 10:17 God said,
"And their sins and inquities will I remember no more."
Even the memory of the unsaved will be removed. Isaiah 26:14
Praise God, that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins!
Jesus Christ is now sitting at the right hand of God! Ephesians 1:20
“Sitting” means He has completed what His Father wanted Him to do!
The Scriptures say that only God is immortal, can’t die. I Timothy 6:15-16
If Jesus Christ were a “God-Man”,
He couldn’t have died!
I Timothy 6:15-16
“Which in His (Jesus Christ) times, He shall show Who (God) is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords; Who (God) only hath immortality dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto, Whom (God) no man hath seen, nor can see: to Whom(God) be honor and power everlasting. Amen.”
The Church doesn’t have the “God-Man” suffering eternally for our sins.
If God held the value of Jesus on the cross higher than He would have held any of us, it would show God to be prejudiced and a Respecter of persons.
If any of us were in Jesus’ place on the cross, the Church would say that we would have to suffer forever!
God
is no Respecter of
persons!

The Death of Jesus Christ is the "Antitype" of Any Other Types of Baptism
“Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death:
that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,
even so, we also should walk in newness of life."
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Begotten:
“Begotten” Means
"Created" and also
“Promised
One”
It
Does Not Mean “God”
In Scripture, there were several “Promised Ones”.
Each of them had a unique birth which indicated God
had a special plan for their lives.
Psalm 2:7 is a prophecy of the birth of Jesus Christ God's only begotten
(created and promised) Son.
Revelation 1:5 speaks of Jesus Christ being the first begotten (created and promised) from the dead.
God told Abraham He would make of him a great nation but, Abraham and Sarah had no children. Gen 12:1-3
Abraham and his
wife Sarah
tried to help God by Abraham having a child with Hagar, Sarah’s
Egyptian
handmaiden.
The son from
this union
was Ishmael.
Ishmael was not God’s “Promised One” from whose line the Savior would come.
God waited until
both
Abraham’s and Sarah’s bodies were too elderly to have a
child.
It was then that God gave them the “Promised One”, a miracle child who they named Isaac.
It was through Isaac’s line that Jesus Christ, the "Only Begotten Son of God" (Created and Promised One), would come!
Gen 22, John 3:16
“And the Word was
made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His
glory,
the glory as of the only begotten (created and promised One”) of the Father full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

Beliefs of the Essenes, Pharisees, Sadducees, Zealots:
Essenes – separatists Pharisees - traditionalists -put wrong spiritual lessons to everything. -hypocrites about everything!
Sadducees - only looked at the first 5 books of the OT, - didn’t believe in resurrection – their thinking, “-be the best we can be today.”
Zealots – political activists - thought Christ was a radical.
Jesus certainly didn’t fit in any of these groups! But, the thrilling thing is that Jesus Christ took people from each of these groups and made believers out of them!
To Essenes He said, “For peace with God, separate from all uncleanliness.” “Let your light shine.”
To the Pharisees Jesus said, “But I say unto you…” To the Sadducees Jesus said, “I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob”. In other words, “I am the same yesterday, today and forever.”
To the Zealots Jesus said, “We’re not here to change the world!” “Give unto Caesar what is Caesar's.” “We’re here to change the hearts
of men.”
Today, we still have people in these four categories! These groups do not understand, nor can they, that salvation is of the Lord! Jonah 2:9
These Are The Wonderful Things God Does For
His People In
The New Covenant of Jesus’ Blood:
God:
-gives
us a new
heart of flesh.
-puts His Spirit within us.
-causes us to walk
in His statutes.
-helps us to keep God’s
judgments and do them!
-has us dwell in Beulah Land
(marriage with Christ).
-will be our God and we will
be His people.
-puts His laws in our inward
parts and write them on our
hearts.
-will have us fear Him
forever.
-will make this an everlasting covenant for us!
Heb 10:16-22, II Co 3:1-6, Ezek 36:25-28 Jer 31:31-34, 32:38-40

"Body of Moses":
The Word “body” Means A Closely Knit Group
Of Mankind
.
“BODY OF MOSES” =

“BODY

When a believer begins to understand Scripture, he or she has turned from
the "Body of Moses",
In the Old Covenant, ("body of Moses"), people tried to earn
their salvation.
In the New Covenant, ( Body of Christ’s teachings), the price of salvation
was paid by Jesus Christ and given as a gift to God’s elect. Ephesians 2:8

Business of the
Church:
THE GREAT COMMISSION
PREACHING! TEACHING! BAPTIZING!
(Jesus speaking) “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matt 28:19-20,
THE
CANAANITES
PICTURE THE ENEMY WITHIN US – OUR OLD WAYS OF THINKING
The Canaanites of the OT were the 7 groups of people originally dwelling in the Promised Land.God told the Israelites to “Possess the land, which the Lord your God which gives to you to possess it.” As saved people, we are now in Beulah Land – married to Jesus Christ.
We need
to “possess this
land” by
gaining the mind of Christ.
We need to replace this old mindset with the mind
of Christ
which can
only be gotten by studying God’s Word.
In the land of Canaan, (Israel) there were 7 groups of people
and their
names ended with “ites”.
7 =
completion.
It’s very important to know that, because of what
Christ
has done for
us, there is in us, no “Canaanite” separate us from the
love of Christ. Romans 8:37-39

the
death of His Son, much more, being
reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Christ’s
Two Questions
Concerning Himself :
1. “What think you of Christ?”
2.
" Whose
Son is He?"
Matthew
22:42
It's very important to be able to correctly answer these two questions!
II Samuel 7:1-17 is the foundational passage to understanding whose Son the Christ is:
God promised David that He would set up His Kingdom using David’s seed.
This would make the King Who God would put on David’s throne, a descendant of David.
This King would be David’s Son!
We read in Matt 1:1 “The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham.”
Jesus Christ has two fathers:
David, from whom Jesus descends, is Jesus' earthly father. The Pharisees knew that much!
What the Pharisees did not know, was that the Christ is also the Son of God!
God declared Jesus to be so. Matt.3:17 “And lo a voice from Heaven, saying,
‘This is My beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased.’
Most of the Church wrongly teaches that Jesus Christ is God the Son.
Jesus Christ is not God the Son!
Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
In Psalm 110, David prophesied that his descendant would be
the Son of God,
not God the Son!
(David wrote Psalm 110 about a thousand years before Jesus Christ was born of a virgin.)
Jesus
quoted Psalm
110:1 to the
Pharisees:
”The LORD (God, the Existing One) said unto my Lord, (Jesus Christ)
'Sit Thou (Jesus Christ) at My (God, the Existing One) right hand,
until I make Thine (Jesus Christ's) enemies (the unsaved elect)
Thy (Jesus Christ's) footstool.’”
In this verse, God had David write that He (God)
told David’s descendant (Jesus Christ) to sit at His (God's) right hand.
Wow! Scripture tells us that Jesus Christ
is presently seated at the right hand of God! Hebrews 8:1.
The OT “picture” of Jesus Christ sitting at the right hand of God
is Joseph seated at the right hand of Pharaoh. Genesis 37-50
Joseph was the image, or form of Pharaoh. But Joseph was not Pharaoh!
Joseph had the rule over every thing and every one except Pharaoh!
After God saves His people, they are no longer His enemies.
They sit at His footstool and learn of Him. Heb 1:13, James 2:3, Psalm 132:7
The Pharisees did not get the fact that they were standing and talking
to Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of God.
As believers in Jesus Christ, it’s important that we know Who Jesus Christ is,
“…a man approved of God…” Acts 2:22
The Bible is
God's Full Revelation Of His Son Jesus Christ!
In the Bible, God has given us the Old Testament, (Old Covenant)
and the New Testament, (New Covenant).
God has given us the "witness of two Covenants, or Testaments.
The first Covenant has physical "pictures" of the second Covenant's Truths of Jesus Christ.
In our study of God's
Word, we need to match each OT
"picture" with the NT
doctrines being "pictured".
In doing this, we will know we have the Truth!
We must be ready to give the reason
for the hope that is in us. I Peter 3:15
This means we need to use the Scriptures and show the verses
to those who ask us why we believe what we do.
We should be able to show those who ask, why we have the
hope of being resurrected from the grave!
It's important for them to read the Scriptures that say we will forever
be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and with God, our
precious Heavenly Father.
ARE YOU ABLE TO USE THE SCRIPTURES TO GIVE THE REASON FOR THE HOPE THAT IS WITHIN YOU?
*************************************************************************************************************************************
Jesus is not God the Son!
(The words "God
the Son" are not in
Scripture.)
Jesus is "the Son of God"!
****************
There is only One God!
He is
"Our
Father Who Art in
Heaven"
Matthew 6:9, Luke 11:2

Conscience:
EVERYONE HAS A CONSCIENCE
Ro 2:15, 9:1,13:5 II Cor 1:12, 4:2, I Tim 1:5,19, 3:9,4:2 Titus 1:15,
Heb 9:9,14,10:2,22, 13:18, I Pet 2:19, 3:16,21
Romans 2
Conscience is not a lawgiver. It does not make laws, or even reveal laws.
Conscience acts as a judge either “accusing” or “excusing” every action, and meting out internal punishment where necessary.
Conscience uses the standard provided for it. Standards can be very
different from people to people.
.
If an action is inconsistent with the standard a person has acknowledged is right, then conscience cries,“Guilty! You are a hypocrite!”
Concerning our relationship with God, the conscience can never be quieted until it has been silenced in its condemning ministry.
The Christians’ freedom is freedom of conscience, freedom from tyranny of the law and the dreadful struggle to keep the law.
There are two things that quiet a condemning conscience:
1. The Law that informs the conscience must be presented with
a perfect, sinless life that has earned righteousness.
2. A sacrifice must be offered that sufficiently pays for sin, and satisfies
God’s holy character.
Jesus Christ’s offering satisfied both God’s
Holy Character, and the sinner's guilty conscience.
Animal sacrifices could not cleanse the conscience
because they could not pay for sin.
. Heb 9:9
(rituals, ceremonies) to serve the living God. Heb 9:14
The Christian’s conscience has been eased. Praise God!
When we're with the Lord , we will not need a conscience.
Heb 10:1-5

Contend for the
Faith:
WHY DO WE NEED TO EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH?
Jesus asked,
“…when the Son of Man cometh,
shall He find faith on the Earth?"
This means when Jesus returns to Earth, will He find the original doctrines
being taught? These Truths, or Doctrines, have been changed, watered down, omitted, etc.
God tells us what to do about this:
“…you should earnestly contend for the faith
which was

Creeds:
The False Doctrine of the Trinity Was Included in the Nicene Creed of AD 325
The Chalcedon Council AD 451 defined the Nicene Creed. This was approximately 300 years after the Crucifixion of our Lord.
It was the first Creed to teach the error of God being three Persons in One.
All of today’s Bible translations are based on the Nicene Creed and thus are Trinitarian.
There have been approximately 1500 years of established Church dogma of this error.
In 185 AD, Iraneous, an early Church Father, clearly wrote that we have a record of the Apostles
saying there is One God, the Father, and One Christ, Jesus.
The title “Christ” does not mean God! It means “Messiah”, “Savior”.
*************************************************************************************************************************
The Apostles wrote of “Our
God Who is our
Savior and King.”
The Apostle also said that there is one God, the Father,
Who made all; things
through His Word.
Ten Errors the Nicene Creed Espouses are:
1. Jesus does not have two natures, but is fully God and fully Man.
2. It would be heresy to say "the Man side of God" was not perfect.
3. Jesus Christ went to the cross with full Deistic knowledge.
4. The three Persons are all God yet, there are not three Gods or three Lords.
5. God is not begotten, but the Son is begotten.
6. God the Son is twice begotten.
7. Jesus Christ had no beginning.
8. Jesus Christ is God the Son.
9. God died on the Cross.
10. Jesus Christ was “eternally begotten”.
Remember, this is a list of
Ten Unscriptural
teachings from the Creeds!
The men who wrote the Creeds used a sleight of hand when they said that Jesus was "eternally begotten"
"eternally begotten" cannot be found in Scripture.
then it brings your Christianity into question.
In Revelation 3:14, it is very clear that
Christ had a beginning!
(Jesus Christ was telling John what to write to the Church at Laodicea.)
Jesus called Himself three things:
Revelation 3:14
"The Amen"
"The Faithful and True Witness"
"The Beginning of the Creation of God."
Revelation 3:14
(Jesus Christ speaking to John) ' And unto the angel of the Church of the Laodiceans write; "These things saith The Amen, (Jesus Christ).
The Faithful and True Witness,(Jesus Christ) The beginning of the creation of God." (Jesus Christ)"
The Creeds, and thus the Churches, wrongly use the term “only begotten Son”
They say this term means only Son or God-Man.
Our OT “picture, shadow, or type” of this is Gen 21-22. Here we have the story of Isaac’s birth to Abraham and Sarah.
Isaac was their second son! Ishmael was their first son! But Isaac, the second son, was the Promised Son!
The Hebrew writer refers to Isaac as Abraham’s “…only begotten son…” Heb 11:17
The proof that both Isaac and Jesus were the “Promised Sons” is in the miraculous ways they were born.
Abraham and Sarah were too elderly to have children and Mary was a virgin. Gen 21
*********************************************************************************************************************
Simply put, the thing that is obviously wrong with these creeds is an inconsistency of definitions of words.
It is all double talk!
We can’t think X and not X at the same time. Neither can we think positive and negative at the same time.
We can’t think “begotten” and “not begotten” at the same time or “God” and “Man” at the same time.
These creeds are basically saying that God can cease to be God,
and that He did this when He died on the cross.
This is double talk!
Scripture clearly states that God is immortal and can’t die!
I Timothy 6:16
1. The
creeds
are illogical!
2. These creeds come right out of the Catholic Church.
3. The Church wanted something to hold the people who had come out of pagan beliefs where they worshiped three gods.
4. The
Church did not think that the Truth
of
Jesus Christ
being
fully Man would hold the
people.
5. The Church thought that saying "Jesus Christ was fully God
and fully Man"would be more marketable to the masses.
6. The creeds have never been changed.
7.
In both Catholic
and
8. The people have just accepted what they have heard their priests and pastors say.
9. Not only have the creeds stopped the study of God’s Word, they have also stopped the debate about what God’s Word says.
10.God’s Word tells us to edify one another. But we can’t edify one another if we don’t study and debate the Scripture. Romans 14:19

Death:
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Hebrews 9:27
“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” I Co 15:22
After death, both the saved and the unsaved go to the grave
where there is no consciousness. Ecc 9:10
Their spirits have returned to God. Ecc 12: 6-7
Their dust returns to the earth. Ecc 3:20
Scripture refers to saved people as being “asleep in Jesus”
I Co 15:18.
The saved do not go immediately to heaven. They stay in the grave until the archangel’s shout,
the trump of God and then they will rise to meet
the Lord Jesus Christ in the air.
